Elkhorn ^6

Elkhorn Red Stoneware ^6 is our newest cone 6 rich red stoneware with a bit of tooth to it. It is extremely plastic and forgiving to both throw and handbuild. Does not feel gritty when throwing. Easy-to-throw and trim, rich red color with white fireclay flecks. Fires a dark brick red at cone 6 that gives glazes a warm tone of reduction.

Excellent for large plates and platters as well. Fits our Super Clear glaze with no crazing!
